Why Oak Roots Therapy?

The Oak Tree represents my perception of mental health and wellness. This tree is both resilient and vulnerable in nature. Throughout our lives, much like an acorn we can be quite vulnerable as we grow, needing the right environment to thrive. We all need to develop roots that offer a stable foundation, one that allows us to withstand the heavy winds and rainstorms of life. Despite our vulnerabilities, I believe we all retain the ability to grow into a majestic Oak Tree. I believe that both vulnerability and resiliency can work together for personal growth.

Psychotherapy

Individuals may seek psychotherapy for different reasons when they are “stuck”, working through issues or in emotional distress. This may include stress, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, life transitions or relationship conflict. Psychotherapy can offer a safe, confidential and supportive environment where you may learn tools to cope in a more effective way, enhance clarity of problems or gain new perspectives.
